In 2012, a large meteorite devastated half the planet. After the nuclear winter, a group of survivors discovered a new element that changed everything. They called it Ether. Thanks to the discovery of this superconducting element, humanity took a giant technological leap forward, creating artificial intelligence and space travel to other worlds using wormholes. 

  But the most important development was the BEYOND programme, a digital paradise designed and built so that after the death of the body, the mind could live on in it.
