Pedro Rodríguez

Sevilla, 1973

Pedro Rodríguez is an illustrator and comic book artist who studied Illustration at the Escola d’Arts i Oficis La Llotja in Barcelona. Over the course of his career he has worked on a wide range of projects spanning illustration, design, animation and comics, collaborating with publishers and clients in Spain, France and the United States. He has illustrated more than fifty books published in several countries and has built a solid career within the international comics market, particularly in France and the US. 


  His work combines narrative clarity with a distinctive visual style developed through years of experience in publishing, advertising and animation and other industries. Among his most notable works as a full author are Omar, el navegante (for which he received the Gran Premio del Público in Saló del Còmic Barcelona in 2006) and Historias para no dormir. He has also collaborated with writer Jorge García on Las aventuras del joven Julio Verne, and with Antoine Ozanam on Yaga, la chica serpiente. 


  His most recent publication is Viejas Promesas , published by ECC Ediciones in 2024. He is currently working together wth Antoine Ozamam in a new project for Dupuis.
