  It tells the story of El Extranjero (The Stranger), a defender of the human race who has protected and guided it since its emergence... and who, after a millennia-long slumber, awakens once again when a Final War threatens the planet. Only under his guidance will humanity have any chance of survival.

  El Extranjero is not an existentialist story, nor does it pretend to be. It is a fable with doses of entertaining science fiction drawn by a master who knows how to challenge what we consider to be existence, time, destiny and origin.
