Cassandra, the left hand of the devil
Art by: Víctor Santos
Written by: Víctor Santos
Cassandra is a woman seeking revenge... She has lost her husband, her son and her arm at the hands of evil men and women. Forces of destiny conspire to make her an instrument of Divinity, the executing hand of Fate.
This is a story of revenge, but also about the price we pay when we hold onto hatred and resentment, losing a piece of our soul with each step along that path. Cassandra is a character who finds no solace, only self-destruction in the harm she causes to others. She is willing to give herself over to dark forces to achieve her goal of bringing misfortune to those she believes deserve it.
Cassandra also surrenders to these forces to forget, to avoid facing difficult choices and to externalise the burden of remorse. The story revolves around whether our protagonist will be able to stop in time, and if anything of her will remain when she decides to end this self-destructive process.
Key points:
A Graphic Novel that shows that triumph requires not only physical strength but also intelligence and self-belief
A story driven by revenge, drawing directly from influences such as Japanese action films, Chinese martial arts films, and glam rock.
